报告人简介：
Richard Ernst教授是国际火山和地球内部化学协会(IAVCEI)大火成岩省委员会现任主席，也是GSA Bulletin的副主编，在全球大火成岩省与成矿、基性岩墙群、地幔柱及古大陆重建方面有很深的造诣。在国际著名刊物如Nature、Nature Geoscience、Annual Reviews Earth and Planetary Science、Earth-Science Reviews等上发表过多篇学术论文。2014年编著完成了著名大火成岩省专著《Large Igneous Provinces》并由剑桥大学出版社出版。
