谷东兵教授英国Essex大学计算机科学与电子工程学院教授,博士生导师,国际知名的智能机器人专家。

讲座概述:可视化定位技术引起了大量研究人员的注意并且在多方面潜在应用上受到了欢迎。本次讲座谷东兵教授分别从滤波与优化的角度对这种技术进行了详细地讲解。同时会介绍深度神经网络算法在机器人导航的视觉映射以及定位调查上的应用。

谷东兵教授简介:谷东兵是英国Essex大学计算机科学与电子工程学院的教授。他目前的研究领域包括自制系统、机器人技术、导航和控制、映射和定位、协同控制、机器学习。他已经在国际会议和期刊上发表了200多篇论文。他的研究得到了英国皇家学会,英国工程和自然科学研究委员会(EPSRC),欧盟第七科技框架计划(EU FP7),英国文化委员会和工业界的资助。他是国际期刊International Journal of ModelIdentification and ControlCognitive ComputationsIntelligent Industrial SystemsFrontiers Robotics and AI的编委。他曾在担任过许多国际会议的组委会成员和程序委员会成员。古教授是IEEE的资深会员。

Bio: Dongbing Gu is a professor in School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, University of Essex, UK. His current research interests include autonomous systems, robotics, navigation and control, mapping and localisation, cooperative control, and machine learning. He has published more than 200 papers in international conferences and journals. His research has been supported by Royal Society, EPSRC, EU FP7, British Council, and industries. He is a board member of International Journal of Model, Identification and Control, Cognitive Computations, Intelligent Industrial Systems, and Frontiers Robotics and AI. He served as a member of organizing committee and programme committee for many international conferences. Prof. Gu is a senior member of IEEE
