报告题目： On the Transmission Eigenvalue Problems Arising in Inverse Scattering

报告摘要: The transmission eigenvalue problem (TEP), except for its critical role in inverse scattering problems, is of its own special interest due to the fact that the corresponding differential operator is neither elliptic nor self-adjoint. In this talk, we introduce the background of TEP and provide the spectral analysis and propose a novel iterative algorithm for the computation of a few positive real eigenvalues of the transmission eigenvalue problem.
报告人简介：刘继军， 东南大学数学系教授，博士生导师。现任中国工业与应用数学学会常务理事，中国计算数学学会常务理事，江苏省工业与应用数学学会理事长，江苏省计算数学学会副理事长，Inverse Problems in Science and Engineering编委。 研究领域为反问题与不适定问题及应用。主持多项国家自然科学基金面上项目、国际合作项目、重大研究计划项目。国家精品资源共享课程《数学建模与数学实验》主持人。获江苏省教学成果一等奖，江苏省自然科学三等奖。在科学出版社出版学术专著2本，发表学术论文100余篇。
