报告题目一：Special Properties and Applications of Multifunctional Materials and Structures

报告摘要：
In recent years, high-performance multifunctional materials and structures have received special attention due to the increasingly higher requirements in engineering applications. From the mechanical points of view, they should possess adequateload carrying capacity, serviceability, robustness and durability. From the physical points of view, they should show exhibit good thermal insulation, noise protection, fire resistance and moisture proofing. In this presentation, some recent research activities at the Chair of Structural Mechanics, Department of Civil Engineering, School of Science and Technology, University of Siegen, Germany, will be reported. In particular, several special properties and innovative applications of functionally graded materials (FGMs) and structures, phononic crystals (PNCs) and structures, as well as smart materials and structures will be analyzed and discussed.

报告人简介：
Chia-Ming Fan博士，台湾海洋大学河海工程学系副教授。Fan博士获台湾大学工学学位，并先后在台湾大学和美國南密西西比大學从事博士后研究，最近获得杜庆华工程计算方法优秀青年学者奖。Fan博士主要研究方向包括：计算水力学、无网格法、径向基函数及反问题。目前已发表60余篇SCI论文。
